Mac helps individuals and families make thoughtful decisions by bringing structure and understanding to complicated financial situations. He works closely with clients to identify what matters most to them and to create a well-defined path forward, especially when decisions feel overwhelming.
“I believe my responsibility as a financial advisor is to bring order and understanding to situations that can otherwise feel difficult to navigate. My background as a CPA and CFP® professional has shaped how I approach this work, with discipline, care, and a deep respect for the responsibility that comes with advising others on matters that affect their lives, families, and long-term goals. I strive to combine sound technical judgment with thoughtful listening and straightforward communication so clients can understand their options, weigh tradeoffs, and move forward with confidence and intention.”
Before joining AP Wealth Management in 2026, Mac spent nearly a decade at PwC, a multi-national accounting and consulting firm, where he advised individuals and family enterprises. His work focused on helping clients organize and understand all aspects of their financial picture, including investments, cash flow, and tax considerations, so decisions were made with a full understanding of their implications.
Through this experience, Mac saw firsthand how uncertainty often arises when financial information is scattered and decisions are made without a clear, integrated view. That insight shapes his approach today. He focuses on pulling together and communicating the most relevant information so clients can better understand what drives long-term outcomes and avoid reacting to short-term noise.
Mac also brings a strong tax background to his work, with experience across tax compliance, planning, and analysis. This allows him to help clients consider how taxes interact with broader financial decisions and avoid viewing choices in isolation.
Outside of work, Mac and his wife enjoy raising their two children in Augusta, where they are active in their church and engaged in the local community. He spends most of his free time with family and values exercise, spending time outdoors, and being present and involved in the neighborhood where they live.
